Our Story

Founded in 2020 in our founder’s hometown of Detroit, Michigan, Burst of Life began the journey towards making the world a better place. After learning of the dangers ordinary plastics can have not only on people’s health, but also the environment, we became dedicated to create safe, quality alternatives for a problem many overlook or are unaware of: toxic chemicals in everyday plastic items, especially associated with food products. Our founder was able to see how common this plastic problem was all over the world during his decade serving in the United States Air Force, where he traveled to numerous locations foreign and domestic, and sought to lead the charge in bringing a substantial change through compostable plant based products.
